2013 Direct Leisure Repairs Catch Up

As your all most likely aware, this year we released our new website www.directleisurerepairs.co.uk and also our new retail side of the business.
This year has been outstanding so far.
We have almost tripled our sales from last year and still we are only a 2 person company . We took on the role of supplying Warners Exhibitions as their point of contact for all services and repairs whilst attending 9 out of 10 motorhome and caravan shows throughout the year. We achieved this by getting the help of a great guy to stand in and carry out the sales whilst we where present at the shows including the help from my dad earlier in this year. The help has been a fantastic and has definitely taught me a thing or two.
We took the plunge to become an Avtex TV supplying dealer and we have sold many different models including the new styles with Sat Decoder W164DRS, W165DRS, L185DRS, L186DRS, L216DRS and the L236DRS. Next year we are hoping to triple our Avtex sales.
Solar panels have a massive success for the fitted types however our portable folding solar kits have been just as good. Our folding solar panel kits are brought in from a German company, we then convert them into a folding system by adding hinges, Cables, Clips, Regulator then we personalise these and use a company called Sew N So’s to design and make a protect carry bag to make easy and safe storing.
We have released our new system German Quality Solar Panels and have called it SOLRTRONICA we have given the Solar Panel a 10 year warranty and the regulator has a standard 12 months Warranty. We have issued the folding solar system with the same warranty.
In order to achieve next years goals we have booked the NEC motorhome and caravan show for Feb 2014. We are hoping to hit the target at the NEC show purely by breaking with the show costs, labour, accommodation, parts and sales. If we achieve this, we will do NEC caravan and motorhome show in October 2014.
Our next outing will be at the Camping and Caravanning Goose Fair meet early October this year. If your going to it, please come over and say hello, from what i can remember from last year it was very cold but the campers certainly gave us a warm welcome .
